The Betty and David Koetser Foundation for Brain Research was founded in in Zurich by the Koetser Family. Since then the Foundation is continually providing financial support for various selected Research Projects.

The David M. and Betty Koetser Foundation made a major gift of paintings to the Kunsthaus Zurich in ; David M. died in His nephew, Leonard's son David H. Koetser, had meanwhile entered the family business in London and opened a gallery in Geneva. The Betty and David M. Koetser Foundation- In David M.

Koetser and his wife Betty generously set up a foundation through which they donated some 70 Italian, Dutch and Flemish Old Master paintings to the Kunsthaus in Zurich- where they are now permanently on view.
